The Vanilla Bean

So on the right side of my blog I have several columns. One of which is dedicated to cooking. Lately I have been really into buying cookbooks from either famous Food Network Stars, or from famous gourmet cookbooks. Jacob has joined the band wagon and we have together enjoyed the challenge and the beauty of cooking different food that requires a lot of new techniques and a lot of new spices ( I finally found a recipe using a vanilla bean...I've been waiting for that! (above))I love to watch the beauty of the colors form and the art of presenting them. I don't know a lot I guess, but I'm learning, loving, and enjoying.......and along the way we eat some pretty amazing meals!
