My parents came to visit and I love it when they do because they always want to go out and see something new! Well there was a nearby fair where they had a hot air balloon show. There was supposed to be 18 balloons go off, but as you will see in the below picture, there was a fast moving storm and I know I wouldn't want to be caught in the sky with lightening and thunder!
The biggest hot air balloon in the US was supposed to be there and sponsored by the energizer bunny, but I never saw it. However, they did pass out these nice pink foam ears....some how I was the only one of us that got one.....hmmm....Jacob?

I couldn't help but share my ears....I laughed so hard when I turned around and saw Jacob like this...your supposed to put the round part BEHIND your ears....and well....LOL! I LOVE IT! I love how he can make me laugh and isn't afraid to be silly.
Ahhh yes... my mother's turn...and for good measure...she throws in bunny teeth! Go mom!
For someone who likes to put bunny ears on everyone else he sure isn't very cooperative!

I love all the colors....gorgeous...it was really magnificent to see these balloons being raised up all around. My only thought was..uh...aren't you a little close to each other?

I just wished they had released them all at the same time. But I guess with the storm coming in so fast they just went up as soon as the balloon was filled. Some of them filled up and then were taken down because they were scared that the storm would bring them down.
It's tradition now to take a self portrait! We had a great day!
